Job summary

Endeavour Foundation is seeking a Coordinator to lead the delivery of the Skilling Queenslanders for Work Community Careers project in Rockhampton. You will coordinate participant engagement, training, and case management to help job-ready individuals overcome barriers and transition into sustainable work.

In this role, you will build partnerships with training partners, employers and community stakeholders, report on project progress, and ensure activities align with Endeavour Foundation's

Skilling Queenslanders for Work - Coordinator

Location: Rockhampton | Fixed-Term 12-Month Contract | 4.5 Days Per Week

Through the Skilling Queenslanders for Work (SQW) Community Careers Program, we support unemployed and underemployed Queenslanders to gain the skills, confidence and qualifications needed to secure meaningful and sustainable employment.

We're seeking an enthusiastic and driven Coordinator to lead the successful delivery of this exciting project. This is a highly rewarding role for someone passionate about empowering people, building community connections, and creating real employment outcomes.

As a key member of the Inclusive Employment Solutions team, you'll work closely with participants, training partners, employers and community stakeholders to support individuals on their journey from training to employment.

About the Role

As Coordinator, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of the Community Careers project, supporting participants to develop job readiness skills, overcome barriers to employment, and transition into sustainable work opportunities.

This hands-on role combines participant engagement, group facilitation, stakeholder relationship management, project coordination and employment-focused case management. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same and where your work directly impacts people's lives.

The Coordinator, will be responsible for:

• Leading all operational aspects of the Community Careers project including participant recruitment, non-accredited work readiness training and project reporting.
• Supporting participants to gain nationally recognised skills and vocational qualifications and move into sustainable employment.
• Supporting participants with a diverse range of personal, social and economic barriers that may be impacting their participation in training and employment.
• Build and develop a culture aligned with Endeavour Foundation mission and values.
• Creating career pathways for participants in opening doors with potential internal and external stakeholder for employment opportunities beyond the training program once completed.

What you will bring to the role:

• Experience facilitating employability, work readiness, life skills, training workshops or group programs.
• Demonstrated experience in Employment Services, Community Services, Workforce Development, Training, Disability Services, Career Development or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with participants from diverse backgrounds and understanding individuals experiencing barriers to employment, education or training.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with confidence delivering training to groups. Including proven ability to engage and collaborate with employers, training providers, community organisations and other stakeholders.
• Strong administration and technical skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
• Effective organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Resilience, empathy and a strengths-based approach to participant support.

Highly Regarded:

• Previous experience delivering funded employment, skilling or vocational training programs.
• Case management or employment coaching experience.
• Existing knowledge of the Central Queensland labour market and local employment opportunities.

Additional Requirements:

• Current Driver's Licence and access to reliable transport.
• Hold, or be willing to obtain, a Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
• Hold, or be willing to obtain, a NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card).
• Ability to successfully complete a National Police Check.
