Job summary

etrainu is seeking an experienced eLearning Content Writer to join our Studio team. You will craft engaging, interactive learning content grounded in real-life scenarios and compelling narratives for diverse industries.

You will research, write and structure materials for frontline workers to senior leaders, applying instructional design principles and accessibility standards to deliver high-quality outcomes on tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proven experience researching and writing learning content across a range of subject areas.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
• Experience finding more efficient ways to work with sound judgment about new tools.
• Strong task management skills with ability to meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to take initiative and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Content development: Write interactive eLearning material and supporting artefacts such as assessments, quizzes, knowledge checks, scenarios and video scripts.
• Structure and sequencing: Apply instructional design principles to shape content and ensure clear objectives and logical sequence.
• New subject-matter: Get up to speed on new industries and standards quickly and write accurately.
• Collaboration: Work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather information and validate content.
• Research and innovation: Stay updated with eLearning trends and accessibility to enhance programs.
• Speed and efficiency: Work at pace to deadlines without compromising quality.
• Multimedia: Brief and support multimedia developers and be present for filming.
• Content maintenance: Audit and update large content libraries for regulatory or standards changes.
• Quality assurance: Review content and perform quality checks before delivery.
• Task management: Deliver on multiple projects within agreed timelines.
