Job summary

Invigorate Ability Pty Ltd in Campbelltown and Macarthur seeks Disability Support Workers for SIL homes and Day Programs. Flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, evenings and sleepovers are available; part-time with casual options.

Travel across Campbelltown and Macarthur is required, with a focus on trauma-informed, person-centred support. You'll help with daily living, skills building and group activities, following Behaviour Support Plans and maintaining professional standards.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability) or currently studying.
• Experience as a Disability Support Worker, ideally in SIL and/or supporting people with disabilities.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid and CPR.
• Australian permanent residency or citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Support participants with daily living, personal care, meals, medication assistance and household tasks.
• Help participants build independence, life skills and community participation.
• Run and join in group activities at the Day Program.
• Follow Behaviour Support Plans and use positive behaviour support strategies.
• Stay calm and professional when behaviours of concern or complex situations arise.
• Write clear, accurate shift notes and incident reports after every shift.
• Work with your team leader, the operations manager and allied health professionals.
