You will engage with students, parents and colleagues to support learning, wellbeing and engagement while contributing to school policies and priorities aligned with state goals.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning and implementing high impact teaching strategies and evaluating their impact on student growth.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning and using data to inform instruction.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, parents and staff.
• Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individuals to achieve student outcomes.
• Contribute to curriculum development and evaluation within the school.
• Undertake other duties as required by the principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Engage in supervision duties where appropriate.
