Brighton Secondary College in Victoria seeks an experienced classroom teacher to deliver quality instruction and contribute to school programs, aligning lessons with the curriculum and state priorities.

You will plan, teach and assess across year levels, using data to inform practice and support student growth. The role emphasizes collaboration with staff and engagement with the school community, with opportunities for professional development and involvement in school policy implementation.

Formación

• Must demonstrate knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning high impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning growth.
• Ability to monitor and assess student learning using data and provide feedback to students and parents.

Responsabilidades

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area or program.
• Undertake other classroom teaching related duties as determined by the School Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertake other non-teaching supervisory duties.
