Job summary

Bunnings is seeking an Investigator in South Australia to join the Loss Prevention team. You will conduct investigations into theft, fraud and policy breaches, gathering evidence from CCTV and incident reports while working with stores and external partners to deliver findings.

This role requires analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to balance fieldwork with desk-based analysis in a fast-paced retail network. Travel across stores may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in investigations, loss prevention, law enforcement or a related field (retail experience highly regarded).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify trends and risks.
• Confidence working with data, reports and supporting technology to inform investigations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations into theft, fraud and policy breaches across stores and operations.
• Gather and analyse evidence including CCTV, transaction data and incident reports.
• Engage with store teams and stakeholders to support investigations and provide clear outcomes.
• Identify patterns, trends and risks to inform preventative strategies.
• Prepare high-quality reports and documentation within required timeframes.
• Support liaison with external partners, including law enforcement where required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, tools and ways of working.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality, professionalism and integrity at all times.
