Job summary

Defence Australia in Canberra seeks an ILS Manager – COMSEC to provide ILS SME support to acquisition projects and COMSEC modernisation submissions to Government. The role focuses on developing ILS documentation, artefacts, and activities across acquisition and rollout phases.

The candidate will coordinate ILSWG meetings, engage stakeholders, and ensure all ILS documents comply with project and regulatory requirements, with a strong emphasis on security and on-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in drafting Government submission documentation
• MCCAT and Codification knowledge are required
• Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders to align ILS activities

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate ILS Working Groups (ILSWG) monthly
• Prepare and distribute meeting minutes; track actions
• Develop, review, and update ILS documentation for projects and government submissions
• Support transition of ILS deliverables into operational environments
• Provide status updates on ILS activities, risks, and issues
