Job summary

Randstad Defence in Canberra is seeking an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Practitioner to contribute to the planning, development, and delivery of supportability and sustainment outputs across the program lifecycle.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, Quality, Production and the customer to define ILS requirements, maintain evidence of compliance, and ensure through-life support in line with contractual and regulatory needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and/or logistics engineering role within an engineering or product development environment (defence programs preferred).
• Knowledge of ILS principles and deliverables across the lifecycle (support concept, maintenance planning, provisioning, training, and technical publications inputs).
• Familiarity with RAM concepts and how they influence supportability and sustainment outcomes.
• Experience producing and controlling ILS artefacts, maintaining evidence/traceability, and contributing to reviews, audits, and customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Plan and schedules, deliverables, and reporting.
• Elicit, analyse, and manage ILS requirements and traceability through to verification evidence.
• Contribute to support system design activities including maintenance philosophy and through-life considerations.
• Conduct logistics engineering analyses (e.g., LSA/LSAR, maintenance task analysis, spares/provisioning).
• Coordinate technical data inputs to training, technical publications, and maintenance documentation.
• Support RAM activities in collaboration with Engineering and Quality.
• Assist with obsolescence management planning and sustainment risk identification.
• Liaise with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and ILS stakeholders to align with build and in-service needs.
• Support ILS reviews, audits, and customer engagements by preparing evidence packs and maintaining records.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities for ILS processes and data quality.
