Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Security Principal – Identity Security to lead enterprise identity security architecture and governance across global environments. The role focuses on Entra ID, Active Directory, hybrid identity, MFA and PAM, with strong governance and roadmap responsibilities.

You will partner with cyber security, cloud, infrastructure and applications teams to deliver secure identity solutions, drive transformations, and mentor junior staff. A NV1 Defence Clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in IAM/identity security/cyber security engineering/architecture.
• Experience designing, implementing and supporting enterprise IAM solutions in large environments.
• Leading identity security initiatives, architecture reviews or transformation programs.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory and hybrid identity.
• Experience with PAM, Conditional Access and modern authentication.
• Knowledge of federation, SSO, identity lifecycle management and application identity.
• Experience with SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, MFA, FIDO2 and Windows Hello for Business.
• Knowledge of PKI, certificate services and identity security best practices.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical authority for enterprise identity security architecture, engineering and governance.
• Define and drive the enterprise identity security strategy, including standards and roadmaps.
• Lead design, implementation and optimization of Entra ID, AD, hybrid identity and authentication services.
• Strengthen identity and access management with CA, MFA, passwordless, PAM, RBAC and least-privilege.
• Establish identity governance, lifecycle management and privileged access controls.
• Oversee application identity, federation, SSO, workload identities and certificates.
• Collaborate with cyber security, cloud, infra, and applications teams to deliver secure identity solutions.
• Lead tenant migrations, cloud transformation and large transformation initiatives.
• Improve threat detection, monitoring, incident response and automation using Microsoft security tools.
• Mentor teams and advise senior stakeholders on risks and best practices.
