Calvary Mater Newcastle is seeking an Intensive Care Technician to provide high-standard patient transport and support, including assisting with lifting and positioning, and maintenance of ventilators and other ICU equipment. The role involves transferring patients between wards and to diagnostic radiography (CT/MRI), caring for patients and ensuring stock levels within the ICU.

Experience with ventilators and dialysis machines is preferred, along with strong communication and interpersonal

Qualifications

• Experience with direct personal care of patients including assisting with lifting and positioning.
• Experience with transfer of patients between wards and to diagnostic radiography (CT/MRI).
• Recent experience in care and maintenance of ventilators, dialysis machines and other medical equipment.

Responsabilités

• Provide safe patient transport and support in ICU.
• Maintain and clean ventilators and other equipment.
• Manage stock levels within the Intensive Care Unit.
