Job summary

CareCone Group in Sydney, Australia is seeking a Senior Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer with 10–15 years of IAM experience to design and implement secure IAM solutions.

You will work across identity frameworks, governance, access management, and security protocols, collaborating with security, architecture, and engineering teams to ensure compliant identity lifecycles and robust access controls.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

CareCone is hiring an experienced Senior Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer for a leading technology client in Sydney, Australia.

Role: Senior IAM Engineer

Experience: 10–15 Years

Must Have:

• Full working rights in Australia
• No sponsorship available
• 10–15 years of relevant Identity & Access Management experience
• Strong experience with Identity Frameworks including OAuth, SAML and OpenID Connect
• Proven experience with Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) solutions
• Strong expertise in Access Management and Security Protocols
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory and LDAP
• Experience with Identity Lifecycle Management, Authentication & Authorization
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
• Experience designing and implementing secure IAM solutions

Desirable Experience:

• Cloud-based identity solutions such as Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID and AWS IAM
• PowerShell or Python scripting for automation
• Knowledge of NIST and ISO 27001 security frameworks
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements
• Experience conducting IAM risk assessments and security audits
• IAM / Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM or relevant IAM certifications
