Job summary

AirTrunk is seeking a Development Director for Melbourne to lead the Victorian data centre portfolio from feasibility through handover. You will coordinate campus strategies, align with regional growth plans and manage complex stakeholder relationships to deliver hyperscale projects on time and within budget.

You will champion safety, quality and sustainability while shaping governance, cost control and delivery readiness across multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications

• 15+ years' experience delivering large-scale development projects.
• Senior leadership experience across complex data centre or critical infrastructure projects in Victoria.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Inherit and refine development strategy for Victorian campuses and align with regional plans.
• Lead end-to-end development from feasibility to handover.
• Oversee budgets, procurement, contracts, and governance reporting.
• Engage with government authorities, utilities, landowners, consultants and customers to secure approvals.
• Build and lead a high-performing development team and manage portfolio risks.
