Job summary

Morson Edge Australia is seeking a Hydraulic Technician for Sydney, covering workshop and field service across construction, infrastructure and industrial sectors. You will diagnose hydraulic faults, service systems, and perform repairs onsite and in the workshop, with travel to client sites as required.

The role requires a Certificate III in Mobile Plant or related trade, strong fault-finding, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Qualified tradesperson with hydraulic experience.
• Certificate III in Mobile Plant or related mechanical trade.
• Willingness to travel interstate periodically.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing hydraulic faults and repairs across equipment.
• Servicing hydraulic systems and components.
• Troubleshooting hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues.
• Responding to breakdowns and completing onsite or workshop repairs.
• Inspecting equipment and performing preventative maintenance.
• Working with pumps, cylinders, hoses, valves and components.
• Traveling to customer sites to service and repair as required.
• Maintaining accurate service records and safe work practices.
