Job summary

Motion Australia is seeking a skilled Hydraulic Technician to modify, rework, assemble, and test hydraulic components for customers in our workshop and on site. You will work independently, lead others when required, and uphold safety and quality standards to minimise downtime.

The role requires mechanical trade qualifications with hydraulic experience, a valid driver’s licence, and the ability to fabricate and test hydraulic power units while delivering reliable service for local clients.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications (Mechanical) as a Fitter, Turner & Machinist or Plant Mechanic w/ hydraulic experience.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Fitting experience with fixed and mobile plant applications.
• Understanding the importance of accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities

• Workshop modification, reworking and testing of hydraulic components to meet customer requirements.
• Manufacture and testing of hydraulic power units.
• Report on equipment following disassembly and inspection.
• Ability to work independently and lead other staff members.
• Onsite hydraulic support for local customers.
