Job summary

Brunel is seeking a sales-focused engineer to drive growth across Western Australia. The role combines engineering know-how with customer-facing sales to identify applications, propose fit-for-purpose hydraulic solutions and develop commercial proposals.

You will build relationships with mining, manufacturing and industrial customers, provide technical support, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions while traveling across WA as required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics or related field.
• Experience in technical sales or application engineering.
• Experience in mining, heavy industry, or OEM environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Willingness to travel across WA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers across WA.
• Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts.
• Provide technical and application support across hydraulic and fluid-power solutions.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Support product selection, system design and technical proposals.
• Prepare quotations and commercial proposals.
• Work closely with OEMs, EPCs, distributors and end users.
• Provide technical presentations and customer support.
• Assist with troubleshooting and application-related issues.
• Manage opportunities through the sales cycle.
• Collaborate with internal engineering, product and service teams.
