Job summary

Brunel is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for Australia’s mining, infrastructure and renewable energy sectors. You will identify and win new project opportunities while strengthening key account relationships.

You will engage with EPCs, electrical contractors and consultants to tailor technically and commercially viable switchboard and power distribution solutions, managing the sales cycle from opportunity to award.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B sales experience in electrical/industrial sectors.
• Experience selling switchboards, LV/MV equipment or related solutions.
• Experience selling into mining projects and renewable energy.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business development strategy across mining, renewable energy and infrastructure sectors.
• Identify and pursue new project opportunities from early development through to execution.
• Build strong relationships with EPCs, electrical contractors, consultants and end users.
• Sell technically focused electrical solutions including switchboards and power distribution.
• Manage the sales process from identification to quotation, negotiation and award.
• Develop specifications and influence project requirements with engineers and end users.
• Collaborate with internal teams to tailor customer-specific solutions.
• Maintain a strong project pipeline and provide accurate forecasts.
• Attend customer meetings and industry events.
• Develop long-term strategic relationships across Australia.
