Job summary

Maspro Engineering in Sydney, NSW is seeking an Assembly Technician to join our hydraulics and manufacturing team. You will assemble hydraulic cylinders and mining components, using hand tools and workshop equipment, under the guidance of skilled Fitters.

You don’t need to be a qualified tradesperson; however, mechanical or workshop experience and a willingness to learn will help you succeed with our team. This is a permanent, site-based role at Wetherill Park.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates good mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on assembly work.
• Experience in manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or trade assistant work is advantageous.
• Confident with hand tools and workshop equipment, with a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assemble hydraulic cylinders and mining components using hand tools and workshop equipment.
• Follow engineering drawings and assembly procedures with guidance and training as needed.
• Prepare components, tools and work areas for assembly and perform basic production records.
