Job summary

Country Fire Authority (CFA) in Melbourne, VIC, is seeking a Program Support Officer to provide essential administrative and coordination support to the Training Design & Development (TD&D) team. You will help ensure training materials are developed, quality-assured and delivered effectively across Victoria.

Working with Coordinators and Learning Designers, you will manage schedules, records, and documentation, while supporting learning systems and data processing.

Qualifications

• Analytical ability to scope and implement new learning initiatives and processes.
• Demonstrated administration experience with drafting professional documents.
• Attention to detail, thoroughness, and accuracy in task completion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder liaison.
• Ability to work proactively with minimal supervision and direction.
• Team player with collaborative mindset; supports a busy TD&D team.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with databases and financial systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate schedules, meetings, resources and logistics for the TD&D team.
• Maintain accurate records and systems; prepare high-quality documents and reports.
• Provide administrative support for learning and student management systems.
• Coordinate consultation activities and undertake data research and processing.
• Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support timely delivery of training materials and documentation.
