Job summary

Tecala Group is seeking a Systems Engineer to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of engineering tasks within the Tecala Operations Centre. You will manage the daily operation of customers' back-end systems, ensuring availability, reliability and customer satisfaction.

You will also deploy Managed Services projects and contribute to service improvement, with strong hands-on capability and communication skills essential for client-facing work.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering MSP/SI services including core infra, networks, cloud and security.
• Background in third-level engineering and ICT project delivery.
• Solid understanding of ITIL framework.
• Demonstrable time management & effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactive and reactive Level 3 engineering tasks.
• Delivery of Managed Services projects with PMO assistance.
• Monitoring, analysis and review of monitoring toolsets.
• Managing and monitoring all installed customer systems and infrastructure.
• Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining OS, applications and system tools.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase efficiency and reduce manual intervention time.
• Process improvements focusing on tools, hardware and software used by the SOC.
• Timely recording of all activities within the ITSM platform.
