Job summary

Tecala Group is seeking a Systems Engineer to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery of engineering tasks and escalation within the Tecala Operations Centre. You will be responsible for the daily operation of customers' back‑end systems, ensuring availability and reliability critical to client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have MSP/SI experience, strong ITIL knowledge, and will contribute to project delivery and service improvements.

Qualifications

Experience delivering ICT services for MSPs or SIs across core infrastructure, networks, cloud and security.
Strong understanding of the ITIL framework and service management processes.
Excellent time management and clear, effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

Proactive and Reactive Level 3 engineering tasks.
Delivery of Managed Services projects with PMO assistance.
Monitoring, analysis and review of monitoring toolsets.
Managing and monitoring all installed customer systems and infrastructure.
Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, applications and system tools.
Maintaining security, backup and redundancy strategies.
Writing and maintaining custom scripts to improve efficiency.
Process improvements focusing on tools, hardware and software used by the SOC.
Timely recording of all activities within the ITSM platform.
Occasional presales and service delivery management tasks.
