Job summary

Tecala is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our operations team in Sydney. You will ensure timely delivery of engineering tasks, keep back-end systems available and reliable, and support the deployment of Managed Services for our customers.

In this role, you will work hands-on with core infrastructure, networks, cloud and security, leveraging ITIL practices, and collaborating with the PMO to deliver projects on time and budget. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering ICT projects in an MSP/SI environment.
• Strong ITIL framework understanding.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactive and reactive Level 3 engineering tasks.
• Delivery of Managed Services projects with PMO support.
• Monitor and review monitoring toolsets.
• Manage and monitor all installed customer systems and infrastructure.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain OS and management tools.
• Maintain security, backup and redundancy strategies.
• Write scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Record activities in the ITSM platform.
• Occasional presales and service delivery tasks.
