Job summary

BG&E Minerals is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to join our structural team in Australia. You will apply your engineering expertise across studies and projects, delivering safe, buildable designs while supporting site teams and contractors.

The successful candidate will have a BEng or higher in Civil/Structural Engineering with 3–5 years of post-graduate experience, a solid understanding of Australian standards and strong communication for multidisciplinary coordination.

Qualifications

• BEng or higher in Civil/Structural Engineering required.
• 3–5 years’ structural engineering experience post-graduation.
• Solid understanding of Australian standards and construction safety.

Responsibilities

• Undertake detailed analysis and structural design for safety and constructability.
• Assess material behaviour under construction-stage conditions.
• Develop construction methodologies in consultation with site teams and contractors.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers and consultants for coordinated solutions.
• Review reports, drawings and calculations for quality and accuracy.
• Assist with tendering and winning work.
• Coordinate with clients, authorities and stakeholders for delivery.
