Job summary

BG&E Minerals, a wholly owned subsidiary of BG&E, is growing its Western Australia team and seeking a civil/structural engineer with leadership flair. You will lead study and detailed design projects, manage contracts up to $250M, and drive delivery across multi-discipline teams.

You will coordinate with clients, authorities and site stakeholders, identify technical and commercial risks, and ensure compliance with Australian standards and BG&E systems, delivering practical, buildable solutions

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant design experience.
• Experience leading design teams and client/stakeholder management.
• Solid understanding of Australian standards and construction safety.
• Strong communication and coordination with site teams and contractors.
• Design and modeling experience, mining sector preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tender and manage study contracts for non-process infrastructure with caps up to $250M.
• Lead detailed design packages with fees from $250k to $1M.
• Coordinate with clients, authorities and stakeholders.
• Identify and manage technical and commercial risks for BG&E and clients.
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines and participate in workshops.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, standards and BG&E systems.
