Job summary

akaysha energy in Melbourne, Australia, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to drive utility-scale BESS assets from development through construction, commissioning and handover. You will report to the General Manager, Delivery and lead cross-functional teams across technical, commercial and regulatory interfaces.

This hybrid role offers a 60/40 split between office and home, with a strong focus on safe delivery, stakeholder alignment, and real-world impact on the energy transition.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering large-scale energy or infrastructure projects.
• Strong ability to manage budgets, schedules and risk.
• Experience working with EPCs, OEMs and grid operators.
• Hybrid work experience and ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery from development through handover.
• Coordinate teams, contractors and partners to keep projects moving safely.
• Own budgets, schedules, risks, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across technical, commercial and regulatory domains.
• Provide calm, collaborative leadership to project teams.
