Job summary

Akaysha Energy pty is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead utility-scale battery energy storage projects in a hybrid Melbourne-based role reporting to the General Manager, Delivery. You will oversee end-to-end delivery from development through handover, coordinating EPCs, OEMs and regulators to balance technical, contractual and delivery outcomes.

Bring proven experience in large-scale energy or infrastructure projects, with solid BESS and grid knowledge.

• Lead and support project teams to create clarity, momentum and accountability.

We built the world's most powerful battery, the 850MW Waratah Super Battery, and now we want a Senior Project Manager to help us build even more BESS Assets.

Akaysha build, own, and operate our assets. We don't hand a project to someone else once it's approved. The people who design a battery site are the same people who help build it, optimise it and solve the challenges that come with operating it every day.

In this hybrid role, reporting to the General Manager, Delivery, you’llbe accountable for the end-to-end delivery of Akaysha Energy’s utility-scale battery energy storage projects. You will provide leadership across complex contractual, technical, and stakeholder interfaces.

What you'll do

• Take the lead on utility-scale BESS projects from development through construction, commissioning and handover
• Bring teams, contractors and partners together to keep projects moving safely and successfully
• Own budgets, schedule, risk and delivery performance
• Work closely with EPC contractors, OEMs, network providers and stakeholders to navigate challenges and unlock solutions
• Lead and support your project team, creating clarity, momentum and shared accountability
