Job summary

Zinfra in Canberra is seeking an experienced Scheduling Team Leader to guide an ACT-based team of four schedulers. You will coordinate field crews across maintenance, construction, metering and gas works, ensuring daily planning, dispatch and safe, efficient service.

This is a hands-on leadership role with a focus on continuous improvement. You will collaborate with field leaders and stakeholders to optimise resources, support priorities and drive performance, within a 12-month fixed-term

Qualifications

• Experience leading, mentoring or coaching teams within an operational environment.
• Scheduling, workforce planning, resource coordination or related operational experience.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
• A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to influence positive change.
• Experience within utilities, infrastructure, field services, maintenance, construction or similar operational industries.
• Experience coordinating field-based workforces and using workforce management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of four schedulers.
• Coordinate and optimise field resources across maintenance, construction and metering programs.
• Ensure effective daily planning, scheduling, dispatch and completion of work.
• Build strong working relationships with field leaders and key stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling efficiency and service delivery.
• Assist with short and medium-term workforce and resource planning.
