Sunshine Coast Council in Caloundra is seeking a Proactive Compliance Response Officer to help maintain safety, amenity and liveability across local laws. You will conduct proactive patrols, educate residents and visitors, and investigate breaches while collaborating with the community and stakeholders.

You will work across regulatory requirements, provide guidance on local laws, and contribute to positive outcomes for a safe, vibrant region.

Qualifications

• Experience applying legislation, policies, procedures or regulatory requirements.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Interest in education, compliance and community outcomes.

Responsabilités

• Conduct proactive patrols across Council-managed land to monitor and enforce compliance with local laws.
• Investigate compliance matters, gather evidence and support enforcement activities under relevant legislation.
• Deliver community education programs that promote responsible pet ownership and voluntary compliance.
• Provide advice and guidance to residents and stakeholders on local laws, compliance requirements and community responsibilities.
