Job summary

alt/shift/ in Australia is seeking an Account Manager with PR heritage to join our Sydney or Melbourne teams. You will lead integrated campaigns across traditional earned media and social, guiding client work from brief to delivery.

As a Shiftie, you will manage influencer partnerships, coordinate events, and mentor junior staff, while ensuring campaigns meet deadlines and budgets. Strong writing and media relations skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing/PR/Journ/Digital
• Experience in journalism or publicity roles highly regarded
• Over 3 years public relations experience in a PR agency environment or in-house
• Experience managing and delivering integrated campaigns across channels
• Established network of Australian media contacts
• Event experience is a bonus
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Execute campaigns and retainer client work: pitching, copywriting, influencer and ambassador management, media calls.
• Event management and planning: support in styling, event materials and production days
• Team management: ensuring client work is delivered on time and on budget
• Client management: lead WIPs, support briefs and responses, strong media knowledge
• Admin: structured file management and timely time sheets and docs
