Weir in Perth, Western Australia, invites a seasoned Instructional Design Team Lead to shape world-class learning experiences that accelerate product adoption and customer success using AI technologies. This global role blends strategic influence with hands-on leadership in a hybrid Perth-based setting.

You will lead a high-performing instructional design team, set standards across a global software portfolio, and partner with senior leaders to align learning outcomes with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design or related field.
• 5+ years’ instructional design experience with leadership.
• Experience designing digital, blended and self-paced learning for software/tech.
• Proven ability to engage stakeholders and translate technical concepts into learning.
• Experience establishing standards, quality controls and scalable development processes.
• Knowledge of modern learning technologies, authoring tools, governance, and AI-enabled learning.

Responsabilités

• Lead and evolve global instructional design standards across the portfolio.
• Grow team capability and mentor junior designers.
• Shape learning strategy to drive product adoption and customer success.
• Oversee scalable learning operations including release readiness and localisation.
• Partner with senior leaders to align learning outcomes with business goals.
