Job summary

Micromine in Perth is seeking an experienced Instructional Design Team Lead to lead a global learning function and elevate instructional design standards across our Software Solutions portfolio.

The role combines people leadership with strategic influence, shaping learning experiences for multiple products and regions. You will drive scalable operations, engage with senior stakeholders, and work in a hybrid Perth-based environment with international exposure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ instructional design experience, including leadership, coaching and team development responsibilities.
• Strong experience designing digital, blended and self-paced learning solutions for complex software or technical environments.
• Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders, translating technical concepts into effective learning experiences.
• Experience establishing instructional design standards, quality controls and scalable content-development processes.
• Strong knowledge of modern learning technologies, authoring tools, content governance and AI-enabled learning practices.

Responsibilities

• Shape instructional design standards across a global Software Solutions portfolio.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing instructional design team.
• Drive scalable learning operations, including release readiness, localisation and quality assurance.
• Influence learning strategy and delivery across multiple products, regions and audiences.
• Partner with senior leaders to align learning outcomes with customer success and business objectives.
