Job summary

The Australian Broadcasting Corporation in Adelaide is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join the Payroll Services team on a 9-month fixed-term contract. This hands-on role covers day-to-day payroll delivery for a national workforce, including processing, reconciliations, superannuation and entitlements.

You'll interpret enterprise agreements, advise managers and employees, and support related payroll projects, ensuring timely, accurate payroll outcomes and strong stakeholder service.

Qualifications

• Experience with complex payroll processing and entitlement calculations.
• Knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and enterprise agreements.
• Experience interpreting awards and enterprise agreements.

Responsibilities

• Process complex payroll transactions, reconciliations, adjustments and termination payments.
• Interpret and apply enterprise agreements and legislation.
• Provide specialist advice and resolve complex payroll queries.
• Support payroll activities across rostering, time recording, superannuation, workers compensation and ATO reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and ways of working.
• Contribute to payroll projects and knowledge sharing.
