Job summary

Randstad is partnering with a growing business in West End, Brisbane, seeking a Payroll Compliance & Finance Projects Specialist for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role splits time between payroll processing and high-level projects, with a hybrid work model (4 days on-site, 1 day remote) and a salary of AUD 120,000 – 140,000 plus super.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will handle end-to-end payroll, compliance duties, and industry-leading project work, while driving award

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-state, award-based payroll roles.
• Strong payroll compliance, audit or project payroll background.
• Proficient with large payroll systems and complex reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end multi-state payroll processing and compliance.
• Manage complex pay-corrections and reconciliations.
• Lead payroll compliance, audit support and award interpretation.
• Partner with business on payroll and finance project initiatives; respond to queries promptly.
