Job summary

UNSW is seeking an LMS Engineer to architect and stand up a new learning management system at the Kensington campus. The role focuses on configuration, integrations with PeopleSoft/SIS and identity systems, and analytics to enable scalable digital learning for staff and students.

You will work in a hybrid setup, collaborating with IT, learning designers, and stakeholders to ensure robust, secure, and fit-for-purpose platforms.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience across multiple technology domains.
• Proven experience in Agile delivery environments.
• Proficiency with delivery tools such as JIRA or MS TFS.

Responsibilities

• Platform configuration and build of the LMS.
• Develop integrations between LMS and UNSW systems using CSV, APIs and LTI standards.
• Data, reporting and analytics support for dashboards and BI.
• Testing and quality assurance aligned with stakeholder criteria.
• Migration support during LMS transition and remediation where needed.
• Support governance reporting to LMS Steering Committee and related groups.
