Job summary

Triple Zero Victoria is seeking a Learning Experience Designer to join the Learning and Development team. You will partner with subject matter experts to transform complex operational content into clear, engaging learning for a 24/7 rostered workforce.

You will design eLearning and ILT content, develop assessments, and manage courses in Open LMS/Moodle, while ensuring quality and timely delivery. A tertiary qualification in learning design and strong writing are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven learning design experience applying adult learning theory.
• Tertiary qualification in learning design, education or related field.
• Experience writing learning objectives, measures of learning and design documents.
• Excellent writing skills and ability to simplify complex information.
• Attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to prioritise across deadlines and adapt to change.
• Experience with Open LMS/Moodle and learning content management.
• Experience with Articulate 360, Canva and Microsoft 365; SharePoint a bonus.
• Understanding of emergency services or government policy.

Responsibilities

• Consult with SMEs to identify learning needs and content priorities
• Conduct learning needs analyses and apply the instructional design process, from analysis through to evaluation
• Advise on delivery modes and design approaches, based on sound instructional design principles
• Design and build eLearning and instructor-led content, including storyboards, scenarios, interactive activities, and instructional graphics and diagrams
• Design pre and post learning assessments to show whether learning has been effective
• Follow the learning materials development and review process, from prototype through to sign-off
• Build and administer courses, programs and training content in Open LMS (Moodle)
• Carry out LMS site administration, including learner administration, general support and site upgrades
• Maintain version control and accurate records of all training content
• Manage your time and workload across multiple projects, staying agile and flexible as priorities change, and deliver to the project schedule
• Build strong working relationships with SMEs, Emergency Communications Services leaders and the TZV workforce
