Job summary

First Focus AU is seeking an IT Service Desk Technician to join our Canberra team. You’ll handle tickets across AD, Azure, M365, and Exchange, troubleshoot desktops, servers, and networks, and split time between desk support and onsite visits.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Azure AD and some on-prem AD knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Exchange, and cloud platforms.
• Solid end-to-end support across desktop to network.
• Experience with ticketing systems and customer empathy.
• Valid Australian driver\'s license and own vehicle; hybrid onsite role.

Responsibilities

• Manage tickets across Microsoft AD, Azure, M365, and Exchange.
• Troubleshoot desktops, servers, firewalls, and networks.
• Support cloud platforms—Azure AD, Entra, Hyper-V, Citrix, AWS.
• Participate in project deployments when needed.
• Split time between desk-based support and onsite work.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to keep environments lean and reliable.
• Occasionally visit client sites; travel expenses covered.
