Job summary

City of Ryde is seeking a proactive Project Administrator to support capital works and infrastructure projects. You will assist in planning, due diligence, procurement, scheduling and reporting, and prepare briefs for internal and external stakeholders.

You'll coordinate consultants, manage timelines and budgets, and help ensure quality outcomes across projects. A degree in a related field or substantial experience will be valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in project administration for engineering, construction or infrastructure.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Experience preparing reports, memos, presentations and project documentation.
• Attention to detail with a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in delivering capital works and infrastructure projects.
• Assist with planning, due diligence checks, procurement, scheduling, reporting and admin.
• Prepare briefs, reports, presentations and correspondence for stakeholders.
• Coordinate engagement of consultants and contractors per Council policies.
• Monitor progress, manage timelines, budgets, risks and quality outcomes.
• Build positive working relationships with Council teams and external partners.
