Job summary

The City of Ryde is seeking a proactive Project Administration/Support role in Macquarie Park, NSW. You will assist with capital works delivery, project planning, reporting, and stakeholder coordination to support engineering and infrastructure projects.

Ideal candidates have a degree in Engineering/PM/Construction Management or related discipline, with White Card and strong Microsoft Office skills. Hybrid work arrangements apply for eligible positions, with salary range noted below.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in project administration for engineering, construction, infrastructure, or a related environment.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Demonstrated experience in admin support for projects including preparing reports, finance approvals, memos, presentations, and other project documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in delivering a range of capital works and infrastructure projects.
• Assist with project planning, due diligence checks, procurement, scheduling, reporting, and project administration.
• Prepare briefs, reports, presentations, and correspondence for internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate the engagement of consultants and contractors in line with Council policies and procedures.
• Monitor project progress and assist in managing timelines, budgets, risks, and quality outcomes.
• Build positive working relationships with Council teams, contractors, consultants, utilities, and government agencies.
