University of New South Wales is seeking a Finance Support Services Supervisor for the Kensington NSW campus. The role leads a small team, delivering high-volume transactional finance services with focus on accuracy, compliance and exceptional customer support.

Hybrid work arrangements apply. You will drive process improvements, advise stakeholders on finance policies, and ensure service standards align with university requirements.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline.
• CA or CPA qualification will be highly regarded.
• Experience supervising or coordinating staff within a finance/ shared services environment.
• Experience delivering transactional finance services and related activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Finance Support Services Officers.
• Oversee delivery of finance support services with high accuracy and customer service.
• Provide advice on finance processes, policies and procedures to stakeholders.
• Monitor transactional finance activities to meet service standards.
• Support reconciliations, journal processing and reporting obligations.
• Ensure compliance with University policies and financial controls.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across faculties and divisions.
