Job summary

Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government organisation to engage a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator for a 6 month contract in Sydney. The role focuses on coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring assets are maintained to required standards and managing delivery across an asset portfolio.

The role requires a Trade Certificate in Electrical or HVAC or substantial relevant experience, SAP/EQi proficiency, a current NSW driver’s licence, and the ability to conduct site

Qualifications

• Trade certificate in Electrical or HVAC is required or substantial relevant experience in building maintenance.
• Experience coordinating preventative and corrective maintenance activities across facilities assets.
• Ability to use SAP and EQi to manage work orders, asset information and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance across facilities assets.
• Act as primary operational contact for maintenance matters.
• Identify issues and arrange appropriate actions and service responses.
• Conduct inspections and report repair/maintenance requirements.
• Respond to maintenance requests and undertake minor works as required.
• Manage maintenance activities from planning to delivery.
• Coordinate contractors with performance monitoring and QA.
• Review practices to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Complete maintenance documentation and reporting per procedures.
• Undertake regular site inspections across assets.
