Job summary

Indigeco Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to support NSW Government transport client on a 6-month contract. You will coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, manage contractors, and ensure WHS compliance across a large portfolio of assets.

You will act as the primary interface for facilities maintenance, tracking outcomes and maintaining documentation while delivering safe, reliable infrastructure for the public sector.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate in electrical or HVAC or substantial facilities maintenance experience.
• Current driver licence required.
• Experience coordinating maintenance in complex operational environments.
• Strong contractor management and service provider oversight.
• Ability to identify issues and coordinate practical solutions within timeframes.
• Understanding WHS, safety, procurement and admin requirements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

Indigeco is recruiting a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator for our NSW Government transport client. This is a 6-month contract opportunity supporting the coordination and delivery of facilities maintenance services across a large operational property portfolio.

This role will act as a key operational interface for facilities maintenance, ensuring assets are maintained to required WHS, safety, operational and quality standards. You will coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance, manage contractors and service providers, respond to maintenance issues and support the delivery of high-quality maintenance outcomes.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as the primary operational interface for facilities maintenance across designated assets and locations
• Coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance services to ensure assets are maintained to required standards
• Inspect facilities, identify maintenance issues and coordinate repairs, service requests and minor maintenance works
• Manage maintenance work through planning, scoping, delivery, assurance and completion phases
• Brief contractors, specify scopes of work, monitor performance and ensure service providers deliver to agreed outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports and records relating to maintenance activities, risks and asset outcomes
• Support WHS and safety requirements, including identifying risks, escalating issues and contributing to safe maintenance practices

YOUR REQUIREMENTS

• Trade Certificate in Electrical or HVAC, or substantial experience in building maintenance, trade maintenance or facilities maintenance
• Current driver licence is essential
• Experience coordinating maintenance services in a complex operational, property, transport, infrastructure or facilities environment
• Strong contractor and service provider management skills, including scoping works, monitoring performance and checking completion quality
• Ability to identify maintenance issues, respond to requests and coordinate practical solutions within agreed timeframes
• Understanding of WHS, safety, compliance, procurement and administration requirements
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage expectations and resolve issues
• Prior experience using SAP is preferred but not mandatory
