Job summary

Lifeline Australia in Sydney is seeking a Philanthropy Coordinator to support mid-level and major donor relationships, manage a defined caseload, and deepen donor engagement. Reporting to the Philanthropy Manager, you will tailor cultivation and stewardship strategies, coordinate donor meetings, webinars and events, and maintain accurate records in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Experience in fundraising, philanthropy, donor relations or a comparable relationship-based environment.
• Ability to build donor relationships towards financial or engagement outcomes.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience planning donor/stakeholder engagement events.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of mid-value donors with tailored cultivation and stewardship.
• Build strong donor relationships and represent Lifeline Australia to donors.
• Identify prospective major donors and support their transition to major gifts.
• Support engagement plans for major donors and prospects.
• Coordinate donor events, meetings, webinars and stewardship initiatives.
• Develop donor communications and materials to boost engagement.
• Maintain accurate donor records and pipeline in Salesforce.
• Prepare fundraising reports to support decision-making and growth.
• Stay informed of philanthropy trends and improve practices.
