Compassion Australia is seeking a Mid-Level Philanthropy Officer to build and grow relationships with mid-level givers, developing personalised opportunities to deepen support and impact. You will work within the Strategic Giving Team, using CRM insights and outreach to identify growth opportunities and major-giver potential.

Qualificações

• Demonstrated experience in relational fundraising and donor engagement.
• Strong CRM, data analysis and research skills to leverage donor insights.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building for donor stewardship.
• Ability to plan and prioritise activities, manage projects and events.
• Experience in prospecting and donor qualification, with targets.
• Knowledge of global poverty, development and the Australian Christian landscape is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Cultivate and grow a portfolio of mid-level givers with personalised relationship management.
• Design and deliver stewardship, cultivation and engagement activities linked to impact.
• Understand donor motivations to identify opportunities for deeper engagement.
• Engage donors via phone, email and mail with clear follow-up steps.
• Develop and maintain Donor Engagement Plans and portfolio tools.
• Maintain CRM records and analyze donor data to guide activity.
• Identify and progress potential Major Giver leads within the portfolio.
• Collaborate with teams to strengthen donor journeys and fundraising opportunities.
• Create donor communications, proposals and updates aligned with brand standards.
• Align work with Compassion’s mission, strategy and values.
