Job summary

Goodman Fielder is seeking a Demand Planner to drive demand forecasting and optimize inventory across Grocery, Foodservice and Industrial channels. You will partner with Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain to improve availability and reduce waste while supporting weekly planning and S&OP processes.

You will work on forecasting using SAP IBP, monitor forecast accuracy, and manage stock transfers to improve customer service.

Qualifications

• Forecasting, inventory optimisation and end-to-end supply chain knowledge.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to influence stakeholders.
• Experience with SAP IBP and advanced Excel is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain forecasts using SAP IBP, analyzing sales trends, seasonality and market activity.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to align forecasts and identify risks and opportunities.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, inventory and stock exposure, driving corrective actions.
• Manage interstate stock transfers to improve availability and customer service.
• Minimise aged, slow-moving and obsolete stock to reduce waste and write-offs.
• Support new product launches, product deletions and replenishment planning.
• Deliver reporting and insights to support weekly planning and S&OP processes.
