Job summary

Macquarie Group in Sydney is seeking an entry- to mid-level collections professional to join our high performing team. You will engage with customers who have recently missed payments, using strong communication and negotiation skills to deliver positive outcomes in line with Debt Collections Guidelines.

You will work in a fast-paced contact centre environment, primarily handling calls and emails to resolve arrears while upholding Macquarie's service standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and multitask.
• Capable to utilise both phone and web-based chat simultaneously.
• A Learning mindset with a focus on effective customer service.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day collections to reduce delinquency through effective communication.
• Liaise with customers primarily over the phone and via email to resolve arrears.
• Negotiate outcomes that are commercially viable and in-line with guidelines.
