Job summary

CreditorWatch is hiring a Customer Collections Specialist to support the Collect Call Assist service for Collect customers, engaging with debtors to resolve overdue invoices and improve cash flow. The role acts as an extension of clients’ accounts receivable teams, prioritising actions and sharing insights.

Working in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment, you’ll collaborate with Product, Implementation and Sales teams to refine processes and deliver outstanding service from our Sydney CBD

Qualifications

• Previous experience in accounts receivable, collections, credit control, customer service or a related role.
• Strong verbal communication skills and confidence speaking with customers and debtors over the phone.
• Excellent written communication and note-taking skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage difficult conversations professionally and confidently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound collection calls and follow-up communications to recover invoices.
• Build professional relationships with debtors while staying customer-focused.
• Document call outcomes, payment commitments, disputes and updates in internal systems.
• Elevate debtor disputes, billing issues and queries to customers promptly.
• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and prioritise activities to maximise outcomes.
• Provide updates and insights to customers and ensure a high-quality service experience.
• Collaborate with Product, Implementation & Sales to improve processes and service delivery.
• Contribute to development and growth of CreditorWatch Collect Call Assist.
