AGL Energy is seeking a Cyber Engineer to join the Cyber Transformation program, strengthening security across Enterprise IT, Cloud Platforms and the Secure Energy Data Centre. You will collaborate with Cyber Security, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure and Operations to implement security technologies and improve resilience against evolving threats, including AI-enabled risks.

Qualifications

• We are seeking a cyber security engineer with hands-on experience in security operations and engineering.
• Strong understanding of networking, OS, and core security principles.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, firewalls and cloud-native security platforms.
• Knowledge of Azure and/or AWS cloud security practices.
• Experience supporting incident investigations and remediation.

Responsabilités

• Engineer, configure and maintain security technologies across enterprise, cloud and data centre environments.
• Enhance detection capabilities and monitoring platforms to identify threats.
• Operationalise threat intelligence with detection rules and automated responses.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and drive remediation with teams.
