Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking a talented Lead Cyber Security Operations Engineer to enhance SIEM detection in a hybrid environment. You will develop and optimize security tools while providing risk and compliance advice. Ideal candidates will have strong operations experience and automation skills. A Baseline security clearance is preferred, as the role supports sensitive government projects in Canberra.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in monitoring, investigation, and response improvement in security operations.
• Proven capability in development of use-cases and telemetry/logging pipelines.
• Experience across Microsoft security services including Azure, AD, and M365.

Responsibilities

• Develop, tune, and automate SIEM detections and dashboards.
• Administer and optimise the cyber security toolchain.
• Provide risk and compliance advice to stakeholders.
• Support vulnerability management with actionable reporting.
