Job summary

Tech & Data People is seeking a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join a large-scale transformation program focused on strengthening and modernising enterprise security capabilities across on‑premises and cloud environments.

You will implement and optimise security technologies, improve monitoring, and support uplift of cyber security practices, including SIEM/EDR, threat detection, and remediation efforts across Azure and AWS.

Qualifications

• Experience in Cyber Security Engineering or Security Operations.
• Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, and core security principles.
• Hands-on with SIEM, EDR, Firewalls, and Vulnerability Management tools.
• Knowledge of cloud security practices across Microsoft Azure and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, configure, and maintain security technologies across enterprise and cloud environments.
• Enhance SIEM, EDR, and monitoring platforms to improve threat detection and response.
• Develop detection rules, dashboards, and automated responses for threat intelligence.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and drive remediation with technology teams.
• Implement and maintain secure cloud configurations across Azure and AWS.
