Zusammenfassung

HumanAbility is seeking a skilled and dynamic Communications Coordinator to support the creation and delivery of communications about our work. The role will coordinate with the Senior Communications Advisor and team to plan, draft, and create clear, concise and compelling communications about HumanAbility’s projects and work.

You’ll work on internal and external communications including our website, newsletters, events and social media channels.

Qualifikationen

• Tertiary qualifications in communications, journalism or similar or demonstrated equivalent experience.
• Experience in a Communications team, preferably not-for-profit or government sector.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills.
• Proficiency with content management systems, social media platforms and Monday.com.

Aufgaben

• Identify, plan and create content for HumanAbility’s communications channels, including social, digital and newsletters.
• Translate complex technical, policy and workforce content into plain English that suits the target audience.
• Draft communication materials with clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Ensure all content is accessible and appropriate for diverse audiences, including industry stakeholders and the public.
• Work closely with other teams as directed to align communications across our sectors.
• Assist in the development or commissioning of multimedia content, including videos and graphics, as required.
• Observe and follow health, safety and wellbeing policies and guidelines.
