Job summary

icare NSW is undergoing a cloud-first transformation, building out modern AWS and Azure platforms to support secure, reliable and scalable services for NSW. You will work across cloud, infrastructure, networking and security, partnering with Architecture, Cyber Security and Delivery teams to craft solutions that uplift efficiency and customer outcomes.

You will contribute to platform evolution while developing expertise in contemporary cloud engineering practices within a growing cloud

Qualifications

• Experience supporting cloud or infrastructure environments in a complex enterprise setting.
• Strong capability in AWS, Azure or similar cloud platforms.
• Experience with automation, scripting and operational technologies that improve service delivery and efficiency.
• Knowledge of infrastructure services, networking, identity and access management, and security controls.
• Ability to investigate, troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues across multiple technology domains.
• Experience working collaboratively with technical stakeholders to deliver shared outcomes.
• Confidence explaining technical concepts and recommendations to a range of audiences.
• Experience within insurance, financial services, healthcare or similarly regulated environments will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver secure, scalable cloud and infrastructure solutions across AWS and Azure environments
• Build automation, self-service capabilities and operational tooling that make it easier for delivery teams to innovate
• Improve platform reliability through monitoring, observability and continuous optimisation initiatives
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud, infrastructure, network and platform issues across enterprise environments
• Partner with Architecture, Cyber Security and delivery teams to implement modern cloud practices and secure-by-design solutions
• Contribute to cloud standards, technology roadmaps and infrastructure transformation programs
• Identify opportunities to enhance performance, resilience, scalability and operational efficiency across platforms
• Share knowledge and provide technical guidance to colleagues and delivery partners to uplift cloud capability across the organisation
